About Dr. Daniel C. Mills

Dr. Daniel C. Mills is a board certified plastic surgeon practicing in Laguna Beach, California, since 1988. He successfully completed his medical education at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and then went on to complete his prerequisite general surgery training for plastic surgery at Wright State University in Kettering, Ohio. Dr. Mills received his plastic surgery training at the Medical College of Ohio, in Toledo, with an additional elective fellowship year of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery training in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Mills established his practice, “Aesthetic Plastic Surgical Institute” in 1988, after receiving ten years of accredited training in the specialty field of plastic surgery. Dr. Mills is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and serves as Medical Director of “Oceanview Ambulatory Surgery Center,” in Suite 403 adjacent to his offices. This private facility meets stringent standards for out-patient surgery care. At Aesthetic Plastic Surgical Institute, patient care and confidentiality are top priorities and are taken very seriously.

In addition to serving patients at Aesthetic Plastic Surgical Institute, Dr. Mills is also Plastic Surgery Representative at CHOC at Mission Hospital, Laguna Beach Campus and Associate Clinical Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at his alma mater, Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Dr. Mills is a valuable and contributing member amongst the plastic surgery community. He holds active memberships in the following societies and organizations: the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), American College of Surgeons, as well as serving as the 2007 – 2008 president of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS). Dr. Mills currently serves the CSPS in the capacity of President of Educational & Research Foundation.
