About Dr. Daniel C. Mills

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, into a family with 12 medical doctors, Daniel C. Mills, MD, FACS received his medical education at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, in California, followed by his general surgery postgraduate education at Wright State University in Kettering, Ohio. He received his plastic surgery training at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo with an additional elective fellowship year of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery training in Phoenix, Arizona.

In 1988, after ten years of accredited training in Medicine, Surgery and the Specialty of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Mills established his private solo practice in Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Orange County and was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1990.

Dr. Mills is the Medical Director of the private ambulatory surgical facility, Oceanview Ambulatory Surgery Center, in Suite 403 adjacent to his offices. This very private facility is Medicare-certified, meeting stringent standards for out-patient surgery providers. Patient confidentiality is scrupulously guarded. Top-quality patient care is the primary focus.

In addition to his active private practice, Dr. Mills is Chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery at South Coast Medical Center in Laguna Beach as well as an Associate Clinical Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at his alma mater, Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He is a member in good standing with the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the Orange County Medical Association, as well as other national and regional professional medical associations.
