About Dr. A. George Volpe

When choosing your cosmetic surgeon, you want the confidence that comes from knowing you have chosen a highly trained, artistic, experienced and caring surgeon. Dr. Volpe is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center of Boston and performs most of his breast surgeries there. He is also on staff at the Newton Wellesley Hospital and at the UMASS Medical Center.

He holds faculty positions at both Tufts University and the University of Massachusetts, is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the major plastic surgery societies, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and performs the full array of cosmetic surgery procedures. He also travels to the third world each year, bringing a team of doctors and nurses to perform surgeries on disadvantaged children with birth defects.

Dr. Volpe and the professional staff at the Caritas Center for Cosmetic Surgery help you achieve exceptional results while making your surgical experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. From your initial phone call to your consultation, surgery and follow up, our goals are to provide you with professionalism, courtesy, confidentiality, compassion and respect.

Consultations are unhurried — we discuss your goals, your concerns, all aspects of the procedure including choices for incision placement and positioning (usually saline under the muscle), and results to look forward to. We have lots of before and after pictures for you to look at and also previous patient references.

We are located in Boston and in Newton. Both offices are easily accessible from downtown Boston, the western suburbs and the North and South Shore areas. In addition to expertise in breast augmentation, we offer all of the other cosmetic surgeries of the body and face, advanced skin care treatments and laser hair removal. Credit cards are accepted and financing is available.
